Sleeping bags are essentially your bedding when travelling, camping, going to festivals or simply having a sleepover, and what bedding would be complete without a pillow? They are underestimated, but have you ever tried to sleep without a pillow? We have a great selection to suit everybody's needs! Self inflating pillows are simply to blow up, simply unscrew the valve and watch it expand, they are usually rather compact and lightweight when deflated too. Folding pillows can be squashed down and put into stuff sacks to make them more compact when transporting and not in use and are usually a little more comfortable than self inflating. Bean pillows work well for long haul flights and long coach journeys as they can help support your head and neck when sleeping sat up. You will find top name brands such as Vango, Design Go and Gelert all at reasonable prices to suit all budgets. You will also find a variety of materials being used as some come in standard PVC or polyester with no frills and some have fleecy outer sleeves for some added luxury whilst travelling and camping.
I was looking for a bag for my daughter's upcoming trip to Nepal knowing that it would need to be warm and light. Having searched extensively I decided that the Chrysalis 4 fitted the bill. Although we have not been able to test it to its limits yet it has been very snug down to the -2C that we have used it so far. I had read a review that suggested it would require practice to get the bag back into the stuff sack but I found it much easier than suggested.
