Keep warm in cold conditions with this 4 season sleeping bag from Snugpak!

The Travelpak 4 benefits from anti-bacterial protection, which inhibits the growth of bacteria to prevent mould and odours to keep your sleeping bag fresh in between washes. The sleeping bag also comes with a handy integrated mosquito net in the hood, which helps to protect you from mosquitoes and other insects during the night.

For added warmth, this 4 season sleeping bag features an adjustable hood, as well as shoulder and zip baffles to reduce heat loss and minimise drafts. Great for travel to cooler climates as well as for camping in the UK throughout the year.

I haven't had a chance to test this bag down to the extreme rating of -10 degrees yet. I tried it at 3 degrees, without a tent or anything else, on a very cheap foam mat, wearing nothing but my boxers and socks and I was warm enough, so I'm very confident that with warm clothes and a good mat it will be warm enough at -10. (I also tried it at about 12 degrees and it is very breathable and I didn't get too hot.

I am a 6 foot average sized male and thought that the width and length of the bag is perfect, it is very comfortable.

A couple of very minor bad points:

The drawstring for the shoulder and hood are on the same side, so it's a bit fiddly finding the one you want in the middle of the night, when your arms are in the bag.

The mosquito net doesn't fold away very well and gets in your face a bit.

Stitching on the stuff sack started to come undone on first use.

Considering the price of the bag though these things are almost irrelevant. I would highly reccomend this to anyone.

Advantages: Warm
VERY good value for money
Comfortable

Disadvantages: Draw strings on same side
Mosquito net not folding away well
Poor stitching on stuff sack

I recently went camping in scotland , the temperature was a little over freezing , i found the bag to be reasonably comfortable and warm , i had a great nights sleep , i also tried the mosquito net , i found the zips a little hard to do as the bag does not have much room to manoeuvre around in , once the net was zipped up the bag felt too claustrophobic for me to sleep all night with it done up, however had there been a true need for the net im sure i could have gotten used to it , the only issue i had was the bag it came in is very poorly made & the stitching broke the first time i rolled it up and put it away , overall i am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to any casual camper for short term use.

Advantages: warm
compact
light
mosquito net

Disadvantages: too narrow for an average 6ft male
zips can be fiddly
carry bag not robust enough
